The official street count of rough sleepers in Norwich for 2017 was 30, slightly less than last year, but it remains unacceptably high.
The total raised from the annual pre-Christmas street collection for local homelessness charity St Martins was £29,279.01. A big thank you to all our supporters.
St Martins has been around in Norwich for over 40 years. We are in this for the long term, every day of the year, despite every obstacle. Homelessness is not just a Christmas crisis.
Over Christmas, St Martins staff gave out over 100 bags of goodies donated by the public to residents at the Bishopbridge House hostel and other accommodation across St Martins.
