Resettlement Engagement Worker

Full time, 38hrs per week. Salary £25,119 - £29,269 depending on experience.

We have a vacancy for a Resettlement Engagement Worker to support and manage the move on/out from our Next Step Services reducing the length of stay in the project and preventing further incidents of homelessness.

To identify barriers to move on and support key workers and the individual to reduce those barriers and ensure successful move on to more independent accommodation.

We are looking for:

  • Someone with the passion and drive to support anyone finding themselves in this situation.
  • Evidence of emotional resilience and tenacity to provide support, even when faced with resistance.
  • Someone to liaise with external partners as part of the Hostel Move on Agreement to ensure effective referrals and move on arrangements are in place.
  • Someone with the ability to fully engage with the people we support regardless of the challenges they may be facing, to be able to build relationships in complex situations.
  • Ability and willingness to be flexible and work unsociable hours, including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays.
