We have temporary vacancy for a Senior Support Worker at Bishopbridge House, our 30-bed direct access hostel. The hostel aims to provide an effective life skills and resettlement service for single homeless people.
The post holder will assess residents’ abilities and develop an achievable resettlement action plan for individual residents, involving them and getting them to work together with other residents where appropriate and review progress of assigned residents.
To be successful you will be confident, adaptable, and conscientious, have empathy with our service users and the determination to make a difference with at least 2 years’ experience of working with people with substance misuse and mental health issues.
Ability and willingness to be flexible and work unsociable hours, including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.
