Senior Support Worker – High Water House

Full Time, 38 hrs a week - Salary £19,446 to £23,111

We are recruiting for a Senior Support Worker at Highwater House, a dual diagnosis unit providing residential care for 22 adults with mental health and substance misuse issues.

Highwater House is also Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE) you will use this framework to provide support focusing on the emotional needs of traumatised individuals. Applicants will have knowledge of reflective practice, positive risk management, be adaptable and confident working with challenging behaviours.

The post will require applicants to have good understanding of CQC legislation and safeguarding. You will represent the service in professional meetings and uphold the Trusts core principles at all times. You will be confident running shifts, directing staff, administrating medication and report writing as well as working one to one with our residents.

At least two year’s experience of working with mental health, homelessness or substance misuse is essential.

Shift working patterns, alternative weekends off.
