Support Worker – Highwater House

32 – 38 HOURS PER WEEK (full or part time position) (Shift work including evenings and weekends, and sleep ins) Salary £19,698 - £20,092 (pro rota) Sleep in rate per night £37.07

We are recruiting for a Support Worker at Highwater House, a  residential care home for 22 adults with mental health and substance misuse issues.

Duties will include, medication administrating, care planning, escorting residents to appointments, planning and implementing activities, providing personal care, attending meetings with other professionals.

Applicants must be supportive and empathise with clients who may have a variety of complex needs. Previous experience of working in care will be required and working within a team.

Highwater House is also Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE)- you will use this framework to provide support focusing on the emotional needs of traumatised individuals.

Experience working with one of the following client groups Mental Health, homelessness, and substance misuse desirable. Applicants must be able to practically demonstrate that you are: caring, kind, empathic, patient, and have knowledge of the basic principles of Care.
