We are recruiting for a Support Worker at Highwater House, a dual diagnosis unit providing residential care for 22 adults with mental health and substance misuse issues.
Highwater House is also a Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE) you will use this framework to provide support focusing on the emotional needs of traumatised individuals.
Duties will include, medication administrating, care planning, escorting residents to appointments, planning and implementing activities, providing personnel care, attending meetings with other professionals.
Applicants must be supportive and empathise with clients who may have a variety of complex needs. Have the ability to manage time effectively and possess good organisational skills and be capable of working within a team.
Experience working with one of the following client groups Mental Health, homelessness, and substance misuse Applicants must be able to practically demonstrate that you are: Caring, Kind, Empathic and Patient, and have knowledge of the basic principles of Care.
