Team Leader – The Somewhere Safe to Stay Hub.

Fulltime - starting salary £24,799. Initially 12 month contract

Closing date: 16/07/2019

We are recruiting for a new team to deliver an exciting new service in Norwich.

The Somewhere Safe to Stay Hub is just one element of the Rapid Re-housing Pathway which is included in the Governments Rough Sleeping Strategy 2018. The hub will be opening up in the City by the Autumn.

The aim of the service is to provide a safe place to stay for a person who is already sleeping rough, has a history of rough sleeping or at imminent risk of rough sleeping. At the Somewhere Safe to Stay Hub a person needs will be assessed and a clear and rapid housing pathway with support will be identified and quickly put in to place, working in partnership with local service providers and Norwich City Council.

We are looking for a Team Leader to support the Homeless Services Manager to ensure the smooth running of the Hub inline with the Somewhere Safe to Stay Hub requirements.

If you are interested in being part of a team reducing the number of people having to sleep rough on our streets and supporting them to get back on track and would like to know more, we will be holding an Open Day on Wednesday 10 July at 7 Upper Goat Lane, Norwich, NR2 1EW from 10-3pm. Please drop in and come and find out about the new service and the roles on offer.

Alternatively for an informal chat about the roles, please call Maria Pratt, Head of Homeless Services on 01603 413820.
