We have a vacancy for a full-time Rent Income Officer to cover maternity leave.
The post holder will be responsible for enabling the trust to maximise the income generated from housing benefit and service charges and provide a consistent link between St Martins and other statutory agencies.
To be successful, you will be a methodical and well organised individual who is able to work with minimal supervision whilst also being a team player. In addition, you will have keen negotiating skills and be able to work innovatively and flexible with service users in recognition of the complex issues they face. You will need excellent communication and numeracy skills and good attention to detail.
Recent experience of Housing Benefit and/or DWP legislation is essential along with knowledge of Housing Law.
