Goals

Helping get people back on their feet

GOALS is a motivational two day programme based on self-esteem, assessing your current life and helping you set clear steps towards the life you really want!

Integrating different positive psychology methods and ‘good old’ common sense, GOALS fundamentally helps you get more of what you want and less of what you don’t want in life.

GOALS is an integral part of the package of support that St Martins offers its clients, addressing multiple needs and engendering attitudinal change. We also recognise that GOALS is a powerful tool for each and every on of us, and as such we offer our training programme to the general public also.

We have been delivering GOALS training to organisations since 2012, impacting both the individuals attending the course as well as the wider team as a whole, ensuring the business benefits in a wider context.

Does your team need a boost? Are your team members lacking motivation or drive? Are you looking to develop your staff personally and professionally? If you can answer ‘yes’ to any of those questions, then GOALS is for you!

GOALS will help you to build your self-confidence, get a clearer picture of where you want to go, and help you get there. There is no ‘rocket science’ to it and each participant learns at their own pace in a stress-free, fun and supportive environment.

Most courses that you have been on have probably focused on skills rather than attitude; this is where GOALS is different.

We currently deliver the GOALS programme in prison and probation services across the East of England through the Shaw Trust. The Shaw Trust run the Her Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) Co-financing Organisation Round 3 (CFO3) which is a programme co-funded by the ESF for England and is aimed at improving the social inclusion of ex-offenders, in a bid to improve their lives and reduce re-offending by providing access to mainstream services, training, and employment opportunities.
