Somewhere Safe to Stay Hub

The Somewhere Safe To Stay Hub provides emergency space away from the street. Specialist team members are on hand 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide people with information, support and to help them to find accommodation.

The location of the Hub is Recorder Road, just off Prince of Wales Road. The Hub accommodates 16 people in private units, ensuring they have privacy and a safe place to stay away from the street while suitable accommodation is found for them.

The Somewhere Safe to Stay service is designed to support people who have no alternative but to sleep rough.

Staying at the Hub gives people privacy and dignity while the team actively works with them to access appropriate support and accommodation. Each person has a personalised housing plan so they can access more permanent accommodation alongside ongoing support.
