St Martin supports the Baton of Hope suicide prevention tour
St Martins is pleased to be involved in the Baton of Hope initiative in Norfolk. We will have a promotional stand at Chapelfield park in Norwich on September 17th, alongside other charities and organisations who support some of the most vulnerable people in the community.

Free cash for people experiencing homelessness: a good solution?

Even though there has been more spending on services in recent years the number of people sleeping rough is steadily increasing. More people are dying on our streets, and more people are presenting with complex needs.

St Martins gets involved in St Peter Mancroft 'Hidden' project
People supported by St Martins have contributed to an art installation at St Peter Mancroft church in Norwich. Tim Edwards from Eastern Region Media ran a workshop to demonstrate how to make an origami envelope and hide a secret message inside it. The envelopes, are on display in the church alongside sculptor Peter Walker's powerful installation 'Hidden'.

The Do It Safely Project
St Martins have been awarded grant funding from Norfolk County Council in partnership with Norfolk Community Foundation to deliver a new project - self-care interventions for sexual & reproductive health. This has been named the 'Do It Safely' project.

First impressions from a new team member
You might think a job as an antique furniture restorer would be a dream role. However, one of our team members has swapped the gold leaf and furniture wax for daily welfare checks and support meetings as she has retrained to become a support worker for St Martins.

Webster Court celebrates 10 years
St Martins celebrated the tenth anniversary of Webster Court, a residential service in the Lakenham area of the city for people aged over 50 who have experienced homelessness at some point in their lives.
