We have an advisory board that meets twice a year. The people who come are people in our local community who care about homelessness, and are interested in the work of St Martins. They raise questions, share their ideas and have suggestions about things we could do to improve the way we work. At our last meeting in September, we spoke about wanting to engage a younger audience – and it was suggested that we form a Youth Advisory Board
So… if you are under 21…
We need to understand what young people think about homelessness and we’d like your advice on how we can engage better with you. We know you are our supporters of the future.
We’re holding a meeting on Tuesday 25th February 4 – 5.30pm at our office (St Martins House, 120 Thorpe Rd, Norwich, NR1 1RT) – you will also be able to attend online if this is better for you.
At this meeting we’ll be asking for your input on social media – what makes you stop scrolling? What attracts your attention, and how can we use social media to inform you about homelessness? We invite you to share your ideas and to comment on our social media channels @stmartinsnfk on Facebook, X, Instagram and Tiktok
If you would like to come please complete this form https://forms.gle/Nuf7TbH9AcNESH6z6 and we’ll send you more details, plus the link if you plan to join online
If you are interested in getting involved, please email helen.baldry@stmartinshousing.org.uk
