Youth Advisory Board

What do young people think about homelessness?

We have an advisory board that meets twice a year. The people who come are people in our local community who care about homelessness, and are interested in the work of St Martins. They raise questions, share their ideas and have suggestions about things we could do to improve the way we work. At our last meeting in September, we spoke about wanting to engage a younger audience – and it was suggested that we form a Youth Advisory Board

So… if you are under 21…

We need to understand what young people think about homelessness and we’d like your advice on how we can engage better with you. We know you are our supporters of the future.

We’re planning to hold a conference next March. We’d like your help to decide if this is the best way to engage with young people and if so what would make a successful conference.

We’re holding a planning meeting on Tuesday 26th November 1.30pm -3pm at our office   (St Martins House, 120 Thorpe Rd, Norwich, NR1 1RT) – you will also be able to attend online if this is better for you. The online code is here:
