Some of the people supported by St Martins at our ‘Housing First’ project enjoyed a day out at Barford Lakes. Thanks to funding from BAGS – The Businessman of Attleborough Golfing Society (BAGS) and Sarah Thomson who made this happen.
It was an awesome day enjoyed by everyone, and as you can see some fine catches were landed! Three people attended and received tuition from a qualified coach, and went away with their own rods, landing nets and rod licenses for a year.
Support worker for St Martins Becky Hart said, “It was an absolutely lovely day. Everybody had a blast and went away with a great sense of achievement and the equipment and confidence to go fishing themselves.”
