The team at Alexion Pharmaceuticals collected some items for the people we support, including toiletries and crossword books and pens. Anna, who lives in Norfolk, organised the donation. She said, “When I heard about my company’s Global Week of Service I immediately thought of St Martins. I remember when I was in high school, hearing about the work the old Night Shelter did and I have been passionate about the issues and misconceptions surrounding homelessness ever since.
CEO Dr Jan Sheldon spoke to the team about the work of St Martins. Anna said, “Jan’s presentation was so well-received by my me and my colleagues. It brought to life the real truth behind homelessness and the fact that it can literally happen to anyone regardless of their background.
We have been delighted to help St Martins and we look forward to hearing how the bags helped some of your clients.
Thank you for the opportunity to support St Martins and we are proud to be able to help in some small way.”
