We are delighted that Norwich Cathedral is hosting one of our contactless donation machines in the Refectory, which enables customers to donate to St Martins using their contactless debit and credit cards.
Fewer people carry cash nowadays, which is a challenge for charities who rely on donations from the public to continue their work. We decided to invest in secure, contactless technology in the guise of a small counter-top box – and are grateful for the support of Norwich Cathedral, who will host the box for the next three months.
This gives people the opportunity to donate to St Martins with a quick tap of their card. The default setting is for £3 and all money goes towards increased housing provision to accommodate homeless people in crisis in Norwich.
