The leading housebuilder hosted numerous fundraising events for its employees to participate in. These included a charity golf day that raised over £13,000, as well as several events at its head office, such as a bake sale, games tournament, and an afternoon tea event. Additionally, a team of volunteers from Barratt and David Wilson Homes, alongside two garden specialists, transformed one of St Martins’ gardens, to create a liveable and welcoming space for those accessing the charity’s vital services.

Dr Jan Sheldon, Chief Executive at St Martins, said: “We are immensely grateful to the team at Barratt and David Wilson Homes. They have raised an amazing amount of money for St Martins Housing Trust throughout the year.

“The team has also donated building materials, which has helped to save charity funds and kept us informed and involved with all their activities. It’s been a great year, and we are truly grateful for their support.

“St Martins Housing Trust provides more than just a home for the homeless in Norwich and Norfolk. These fundraising efforts allow us to provide essential support alongside good quality housing. Our focus is to help people recover from the trauma of homelessness, and this donation will undoubtedly transform lives.”

Simon Wood, Managing Director at Barratt and David Wilson Homes Anglia, said: “We’ve thoroughly enjoyed fundraising for St Martins Housing Trust throughout 2024. Not only have we had fun along the way, but we’ve raised a fantastic amount of money for this worthwhile cause.
