Open day at our mental health drop-in

Bridges is a well-established drop-in service for people who struggle with their mental health. From April this year, the service relocated to Under 1 Roof on Westwick Street and runs on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

We are holding an Open Day on Thursday 20th June from 1 – 3pm and invite anybody who is interested to come and look around. The members of the group, some of whom have been coming to Bridges for years, would love you to all come along to learn about Bridges, showcase their work and tell you all about their future vision.

The aim of Bridges is to help people manage their enduring mental illness,
gain more social confidence and also help them to resolve any housing or financial problems.
It is a safe space to meet others who experience similar issues and difficulties. Regular outings and activities of interest to the members are organised.
The service is run by St Martins and is accessed by referral only
(GP, health professionals, support workers) We particularly invite support workers and health professionals to come on June 20th as we would welcome more referrals.

Art exhibition Art is one of the many activities offered at Bridges and some of the members’ work will be on display at the open day – please pop in
and have a look.

If you intend to come, please email lucy.bone@stmartinshousing.org.uk

It would be helpful to know how many people to expect and to ensure we have enough tea and biscuits!
