Putting People First in Supported Housing
At a recent Westminster Insight conference, St Martins’ Director and Deputy Director of Homeless Services, Maria and Stacey, brought more than 40 years of combined experience to the national conversation. Their session focused on housing people with experience of rough sleeping and the realities of delivering high‑quality supported housing in a system under pressure.

Very little helps us quite a lot, actually!
The sale of Tesco style plastic bags branded with Banksy’s name and the reworked slogan ‘very little helps’ has raised £2,500 so far for St Martins.

Have you seen the Cloak of St Martin?
A large red wooden structure has popped up on Almary Green near the entrance of Norwich Cathedral. The church-like form houses a torn red cloak - come and see the Cloak of St Martin for yourself and reflect on themes of community, history and social justice.

New Chief Executive appointed for St Martins
David Powles is to join St Martins as the charity's new Chief Executive. David is a long-standing supporter of St Martins, having worked closely with us during his time as editor of the EDP, as a volunteer, and as a valued member of our Advisory Board.

Socks and chocs for Easter for Norwich homeless charity
174 socks and chocs have been distributed to people living in our hostels around the city. Pat and Richard Thorpe co-ordinated the effort, which was supported by Witard Road Baptist Church and the Rackheath Women’s Institute.
