Senior support worker Lesley works nights at Bishopbridge House, St Martins direct access hostel. What happens there while the rest of us are sleeping? We asked Lesley to explain what a night shift is like.

Estate agents in Norfolk & North Suffolk have shown their support for people who don’t have a home, by making a £1,500 donation to St Martins.

Every day at school 11 year old Jessica collects crisp packets to turn into foil blankets to give to people sleeping rough. She is also raising money to make up care packages for people who need them.

Thanks to funding from the Norfolk Community Foundation, we are able to do weekly litter picks encouraging the people we support to get out there and do something different as part of a 'greening our community' project 

Norwich resident Stephen Musk has published a book documenting a life of mental illness. Green Icing details his experiences of isolation, anxiety and paranoia. It also contains reflections on friendships and human interaction, which remained elusive for much of Stephen’s life.

We have a dedicated Community Housing team that supports people living in shared houses in the community and in temporary accommodation.

Norwich resident Lindsay Maher opened up her garden to raise funds for St Martins. The garden is a labour of love and is an incredible oasis of peace and tranquility.

A memorial garden to remember people experiencing homelessness who have died was opened on September 6 by the Rt Rev Graham Usher, Bishop of Norwich.
