St Martins has launched a winter campaign to address some of the misunderstandings around homelessness and to raise awareness of our work to support vulnerable people in the county.

Joel Swash from Mundesley features in a short family video asking people to “give a quid” – which has already raised around £350, seven times his initial target.

St Martins has won national recognition in the category ‘Care Home Team Award’ in the Great British Care Awards.

When people turn up for a counselling or art session at St Martins, they are greeted with a friendly smile from Jason, who conveys a warm welcome even behind a face mask and barrage of hand sanitiser upon entry.

Throughout its 150 anniversary week, the EDP is highlighting 150 great lives who have positively impacted Norfolk. The former Dean of Norwich The Very Rev Alan Webster, who founded St Martins, has been honoured.

The first spade hit the ground last week at our new gardening project as we started to prepare the ground to grow some vegetables.

Marine biologist Robert is currently homeless and living at one of St Martins services. He is taking part in lottery-funded personal training sessions at Norfolk Health and Fitness to help his physical and mental wellbeing.

St Martins has been awarded a £3,500 grant from the B&Q Foundation. The money will be spent on creating a welcoming garden area as a safe space to meet, socialise and wait for appointments.

The team at Alexion Pharmaceuticals collected some items for the people we support, including toiletries and crossword books and pens.
